Piccadilly (1929) is a silent British classic and was also an international success. A young Chinese woman working in the kitchen at a London dance club is given the chance to become the club’s main act, which leads to a plot of betrayal, forbidden love, and murder. The film is set in the Jazz Age and will be accompanied by jazz musicians Chris and Veronica Perrin, who perform as Brief Encounter Duo.
