Coordinator needed for Neighbourhood Watch

Neighbourhood Watch logo

Darnick is registered with Neighbourhood Watch Scotland but it now needs a new co-ordinator to keep the scheme going in the village.
Alan Redhead is stepping down as co-ordinator after 19 years of looking after Darnick’s registration and keeping the community informed of important alerts.
The Darnick Village Development Trust has thanked Alan for his long service and is now hoping another resident can step into his shoes.
The main responsibility of the role is to receive emails and forward the ‘warning’ ones to the e-Newsletter. The scheme is also moving to a new online system, which will make registration of new members and management of existing members easier to manage.
If you are willing to take on this important role please contact Angie Stormont, Chair of the Darnick Village Development Trust, for further information: angela.stormont@btinternet.com.
