The Darnick Village Development Trust (DVDT) is encouraging villagers to come along to its AGM this month (Aug) and find out what’s been going on in the village and plans for the future.
The AGM is being held in the Smith Memorial Hall, on Tuesday 28 August, at 7.30pm. Guest speaker is Kenneth Gunn, Company Secretary of Scottish H.A.R.T. (Heart at Risk Testing), who advised the DVDT on the village defibrillator project, which led to the extremely successful funding appeal and purchase of the life-saving equipment.
Angie Stormont, Interim Chair of the DVDT, said:”The AGM is a great opportunity to hear what the Trust has been up to in the last 12 months, and its plans for the coming year. It is also a chance for villagers to have a say and share their thoughts on life in Darnick, including any ideas they have for future activities and events in the village.”
Following the formal business of the evening, there will be refreshments and an opportunity for people to chat with fellow villagers.
