The monthly TEA n’ CHAT is underway again for its fifth year of helping to bring Darnick villagers together to meet old friends and to make new ones, and provide the village’s new arrivals with an opportunity to meet their neighbours.
The gathering is held in the Darnick Village Hall on the last Tuesday of the month from September until April, excluding December. Tea, coffee, home baking and scones are made by the committee, and donations of £1.50 to cover expenses are welcome.
The event is run by Isabel Allan, Hilary Ford, Pat McKenzie and Kate Houston. The tasty cheese scones are donated by Elizabeth Sloan. The team are delighted to welcome all ages who are at home on a Tuesday morning, and the Walkit group of walkers, who join in after their walk which starts at 10am from the village garden.
The dates for the next meetings are September 25th, October 30th, November 27th, January 29th, February 26th, March 26th and April 30th.
