A series of events has been organised by the Darnick Village Development Trust to give a lively start to Spring in the village.
A fun packed weekend towards the end of March gets the season underway, with a quiz night to test your local and general knowledge, followed by a ‘Soup and Sandwich’ lunch to socialise with friends and family, and perhaps meet some of your new neighbours who have recently moved into Darnick.
This is followed in April by a festival of theatre, with two very different theatre performances. On Saturday 7th April, an experimental theatre group, The Suitcase Ensemble, bring their Travelling Show to the Smith Memorial Hall.
The hall is then the venue for a funny and moving journey through sixty years of village life, with Here I belong, performed by Pentabus, and supported by Borders Live and Borders Live Touring.
